The entrepreneurial spirit behind Itaewon St. Cafe traces back to 2013, when our founder, Jherald Espeleta, began his journey as a college student reselling Julie’s Bakeshop pastries to fund his education, turning over as many as 1,000 pieces a day. Building on this strong foundation of grassroots retail, Jherald and Rassel Joyce Espeleta formally established the Geros Group of Companies in May 2018 in Batangas City. What began as a humble, home-based trading office quickly expanded into a dynamic, multi-industry conglomerate. Today, Itaewon St. Cafe stands as a testament to that growth, serving multiple locations including our flagship garden cafe in Gulod, and high-efficiency branches in Bolbok and San Pascual.

When we first started our entrepreneurial journey back in 2013, we had nothing but a small capital and big dreams. Back then, as a college student, I took the initiative to resell up to 1,000 pieces of bread and pastries a day just to help fund my education. That humble, grassroots experience taught us the invaluable lessons of hard work, consistency, and the true meaning of customer service.
Those early days laid the foundation for what would eventually become the Geros Group of Companies, which we proudly established in Batangas City in May 2018. Today, we are absolutely thrilled to welcome you to Itaewon St. Cafe. We created this brand to bring a premium, cosmopolitan cafe experience to our local community, without ever losing sight of our roots.
At the very core of our business is a simple philosophy: The Golden Rule. We believe in treating people exactly the way we want to be treated.
